The organisation operates within the global resources and manufacturing sector, managing complex mining, processing and manufacturing activities across multiple locations.
These operations generate significant volumes of operational, financial, project and corporate information across a range of enterprise systems.
As reporting requirements expanded, the organisation required an analytics environment capable of providing consistent visibility of operational performance while supporting finance, project portfolio and executive reporting requirements.
AGER BI was engaged to progressively develop this capability using Microsoft Power BI, Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric.
The Challenge
The organisation needed reliable access to performance information across a geographically distributed and operationally complex business. Microsoft Fabric Data Platform Modernisation
AGER BI designed and implemented Microsoft Fabric architecture to provide a more integrated foundation for the organisation’s enterprise analytics environment.
Existing Azure data workloads were assessed and appropriate analytics processes progressively modernised using Microsoft Fabric.
The architecture brought data engineering, storage, transformation, modelling and Power BI analytics into a more integrated environment while retaining appropriate existing Microsoft Azure capabilities.

Operational Performance Analytics
